Grandmaster Ziaur Rahman won his fifth round game to share the second position with compatriot Enamul Hossain Rajib at the end of the five rounds of the 4th Kolkata Open International Grandmasters Chess Tournament at Gorkey Sadan on Saturday.
Both the Bangladesh Grandmasters have four points each along with eight other players while Indian GM Sandipan Chanda enjoys solo lead in the meet earning 4.5 points from five outings.
In the fifth round matches, Enamul Hossain Rajib drew with GM Safarly Eltaj while Zia beat FM Sahaj Grover.
Minhazuddin Ahmed Sagar has 2.5 points while GM Reefat Bin Sattar, FM Abu Sufian Shakil and Debaraj Chatterjee follow him with two points each.
Sagar lost to GM Tkachiev Vladislav , Debaraj lost to IM Murali Krishnan, Reefat drew with Matta Vinay Kumar and Shakil drew with Prince Bajaj.
